Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FieldAngel, an AI receptionist service for home-service businesses ("FieldAngel", the "Service"). FieldAngel is an Angel Spok product ("AngelSpok", "we", "us"). By subscribing to or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

FieldAngel answers phone calls placed to your dedicated business line 24/7 using artificial intelligence: it greets callers, triages urgency, captures lead and job details, and sends you alerts with the call transcript and recording. Features may evolve over time; we will not materially reduce the core service you pay for without notice.

2. Eligibility and accounts

The Service is offered to businesses. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account and contact information. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. Pricing, billing and cancellation

• Founding-member pricing is $29/month (regular price $97/month), billed monthly through Stripe. Founding pricing stays locked for as long as your subscription remains active.
• No contracts and no per-minute or per-call fees. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• 30-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied, email [email protected] within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.

4. Important limits — please read

• FieldAngel is not an emergency service. It cannot place calls to 911 or dispatch emergency responders. Its emergency "triage" classifies the urgency of a job for your business — it is not a substitute for emergency services.
• Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and, despite our safeguards, may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Transcripts and recordings are provided so you can always verify what was said.
• The Service does not provide legal, medical, safety or other professional advice — guidance offered to callers (for example, suggesting a water shutoff) is general information only.
• We work to keep the Service available around the clock but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Telephone carriers and third-party providers are outside our control.

5. Call recording and legal compliance

Calls handled by the Service are recorded and transcribed so that you receive complete lead information. Laws on call recording and telemarketing vary by state (some states require all-party consent). You are responsible for using the Service in compliance with the laws that apply to your business and your callers, including call-recording consent requirements and, for any outbound communication, the TCPA and related rules. If your jurisdiction requires a recording disclosure at the start of calls, contact us and we will configure it for your line.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes, spam, robocalling, harassment, or to impersonate others. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.

7. Your data

Your business data — including call recordings, transcripts and captured leads — belongs to you. You can request an export at any time. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

We own the Service, its software and its branding. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you, and your data remains yours.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost jobs, lost revenue or lost data.

10. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service for breach of these Terms, with a refund of any prepaid period not served when the termination is not caused by your breach.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced by email to subscribers. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
